Vidya Niketan Global Institute's Vidya Niketan Institute of Pharmacy & Research Center, Bota, Sangamner was established with the vision of providing quality pharmacy education to students from economically, educationally, and socially disadvantaged sections of society. Under the guidance of its Secretary, Prof. R. B. Pokharkar, and CEO, Dr. V. B. Patil, the institute commenced the D. Pharm. program in 2018, followed by B. Pharm. in 2019 and M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance) in 2024.

Spread across 28 acres amidst the scenic Sahyadri Mountain Range, the institute offers a peaceful and conducive environment for learning. The college has a spacious and well-equipped infrastructure with modern facilities as per the norms of the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, along with transportation facilities for students and staff.
